We help people create personal time-capsules filled with memories that stay safe until the perfect moment, so when they’re unlocked, the feelings return just as vividly as the day they were made.
About Me and MeTi
Hi, I’m Nicola, the creator of MeTi born and raised in Shetland, Scotland. Obsessed with Highland cows and love to find the joy in moments whenever I can.
This idea started as a quiet thought after my Granny passed away.
When my brother had just gotten engaged, we all wished she could be there for his special day. I kept thinking — how beautiful it would have been if she’d left a video, just for him, to open on that day.
That’s where MeTi began: a space for moments that matter.​​​​​
It came to me in a dream — this vision of a lockable memory, opened only in the future. A video recorded on your brightest day, waiting for your darkest one.

There were so many things I wish I could have said to my Granny, and so many moments I wish I’d saved.

Here are some frequently asked questions regarding our app MeTi.
Can anyone see my memories?
No — your memories are completely private unless you choose to share a Pocket. Even then, only the people you invite can view what you’ve shared.
Can I change the unlock date after creating a Pocket?
Yes! Just open the Pocket, tap the settings icon, and adjust the unlock date. Your content stays safe until that new date.
What happens if I delete my account?
When you delete your account, all your content and Pockets are permanently removed from our servers. We don’t keep backups, so make sure to save anything important first.
Can I give my family access if something happens to me?
Yes. MeTi includes a Trusted Access feature that lets you share specific Pockets with chosen family or friends using a unique share code. They can unlock and view the content you’ve created, even if you’re no longer able to. It’s a way to leave behind meaningful memories, messages, and moments for the people who matter.
Is my data secure with MeTi?
Yes. All your photos, videos, voice notes, and messages are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage. Your memories are private to you unless you choose to share them. We never sell user data, and there are no social feeds, ads, or public profiles — MeTi is designed for privacy, safety, and peace of mind.
